MEANDERING HORIZONS

2020- Date

Like many people, walking became one of my primary recreational pursuits during the pandemic. Due to the 5km restriction I found myself revisiting many of the same places much more than I usually would. The repetition of these walks results in the memory of them merging into one long meandering, blurry, foggy walk.

Using photographs of my lockdown walks as a base, I add and subtract layers and details to the original images. Some elements disappear completely whilst other aspects seem highlighted. 

This project will be ongoing for as long as my meanderings are still ongoing
