‘Was’ members exhibition
I’m very honoured and privileged to live in a very creative and supportive community here in West Cork and specifically in Ballydehob. The Working Artist Studios (otherwise known as WAS) are based in the village and has a wonderfully talented group of members (1 of which is me!)
Our members exhibition is coming up and I will be exhibiting these new works. These 3 pieces are all inspired by the beautiful landscape of the Beara peninsula where I was lucky enough to spend some time on a residency recently.
I didn’t actually do much painting or making whilst I was there - I mostly walked until I thought my legs would fall off - but the beauty of the landscape stays with me and continues to inspire and inform my work (I did also take about 1 million photographs which also helps!)
Sign up to my newsletter if you’d like an invite to the opening or if you’d like to keep up to date on new works for sale on my site (I promise there will some soon). The link is in the footer below.
